the smallest of the thousand islands, ‘just room enough’ is home to this cottage. only when the water level is low enough is there room for the outside furniture you see in the photo.
I went to a wedding at Heart Island and we saw that on the way there. Ever since I saw it I’ve been enamored by it. We took a look and there’s actually quite a few little islands for sale there in the river. It just seems weird to me that there’s that much solid bedrock sticking out the river to build a house on. Really neat though.
They shop by boat. This area is a river, so I suspect there is no tide, but the water level would vary based on storms, snowmelt, etc. It can’t be the smallest of the thousand islands; an island is anything bigger than a square foot with a tree on it. It might be the smallest one with a house on it.
Joder no me lopuedo creeer, que bonito
Yikes, the name hits it on the head. What an interesting place to live.

With the exception of my fear of water, I think that’s the perfect place for me to live.
I’m sooo hoping that this photograph was taken at HIGH tide.
