bad courtroom artist or naturally hideous fingers?

just came across this courtroom sketch of ‘myriam bédard’ during a trial last year.

does anyone know - are her fingers actually that strange or is the courtroom artist as shit as me at drawing hands?

  1. Looking at her face you can see that it was drawn with some skill, I imagine most court sketchers don’t get to see hands very often. Hands are often not what is important to catch when sketching a person, either.

  2. FYI Myriam Bédard is a biathlete and won 2 gold medals at the Albertville Olympic games. So if she can shoot rifles she must have normal (or premium) fingers!
